Marigold & Indigo Battenburg Lace Napkins
Set of 6 cotton antique napkins that I scored them at a church sale in Litchfield, CT. One corner of each napkin features intricate Battenburg lace design and have an all over decorative hem edging.
These napkins were first ecoprinted with marigold and then overdyed with indigo

Fun Fact: Battenburg Lace, which is a type of tape lace, was invented in New York by Sarah Hadley and was very popular in the late 1800s.
