One of a kind shibori slip dresses, made from bias cut deadstock and vintage silk. Hand dyed by me in my East Harlem dye house/studio. Cut and sewn by some great people in the NYC Garment District.
Each panel of these dresses is individually folded, clamped, dyed, and washed by hand by me using natural dyes and plant pigments.
Dyes used to create these one of a kind shibori pieces include:
cochineal, weld, logwood, indigo, kamala, marigold, madder, and osage.
